Who We Are

Cherokee Fire Protection is a Native American-owned small business enterprise providing fire protection consulting, engineering and design, analysis and inspection services to a wide range of private commercial, government and military clients. Cherokee also provides construction and program management support both on a contract basis as well as through outsourcing our management and technical staff to client offices. In April 2005, we were admitted to the Small Business Administration's 8(a) Business Development Program. (Click to see approval letter.)

The fire protection staff at Cherokee are degreed fire protection engineers, including registered Professional Engineers and certified Fire Inspectors, Educators and Arson Investigators. Our staff actively participates with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Society of Fire Protection Engineering (SFPE) to maintain our knowledge of code and standard changes and trends, as well as product development so that our clients receive the best solutions to their specific life safety and fire protection challenges.

Headquartered in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area, Cherokee is accessible for timely response both locally and nationwide.
